Bio

My interest in taking photographs began with the admiration I have for my stepfather’s photography. The images he capture in his time and adventures while he was in the Navy, worked for the National Geographic and the National Park Service, showed me his love for nature, photography and life.

I began taking photographs in 2001, using the digital camera on a small Panasonic camcorder. As my interest grew, so did my passion for the art as well as my equipment vault. I became a Combat Documentation and Production Specialist (Combat Camera) in 2006, and have traveled to over 40 countries capturing imagery and sharing my vision with the world. My photos have been published in several major civilian and military publications. I’m currently attending the prestigious Military Photojournalism Program at Syracuse University.
