A Mother’s Day: Rose Valentino became a single mother shortly before her daughter’s first birthday. With little support from her ex-boyfriend, Rose struggles to maintain a job as a residential and commercial painter, fight bipolar disorder, and care for 17-month-old Alex. Throughout her strenuous day to day, Rose does whatever it takes to remedy anxiety, social isolation and depression as she adjusts to an unexpected life of single motherhood.
