Dana Beesley

Bio

Dana Beesley graduated from Lewiston Senior High School in Lewiston, Idaho in the spring of 2014. She completed her freshman year at the University of Idaho before shipping off to recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, South Carolina in April 2015. After graduating recruit training, she continued her Marine Corps combat training on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.

Upon completion of combat training, Pfc. Beesley went on to attend the Basic Public Affairs Specialist Course at the Defense Information School on Fort Meade, Maryland. Upon graduation, Lance Cpl. Beesley was then selected to attend the Broadcast Communications Specialist Course, graduating in May 2016.

Lance Cpl. Beesley received orders to the Pentagon, where she served on the Digital Engagement Team as a social media manager. In March 2017, Cpl. Beesley was accepted to the Military Photojournalism Program at S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, Syracuse New York. Upon completion of her studies, she will continue her military career at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, South Carolina.
