Bio
I joined the United States Navy in 2013 as a Mass Communication Specialst. The Navy trained me on a variety of communication methods such as news writing, photojournalism, videography, radio and televison broadcast and design. I put these disciplines into practice as a Sailor aboard the aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77) from 2014 to 2017.
Over the past year, I’ve attended Syracuse University’s prestigious S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications where I’ve branched out to writing, directing, and producing short films.
I am not traveling this Navy journey alone. I have shared 11 years of marriage with my wife,Eleanor Fling . We have 3 boys together: Franklin, 9, Benjamin, 8, and Mackson, 2. The next in our Navy lives is at Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Illinois.
