Bryan and Chassidy run a small barbershop in Syracuse. Their philosophy is, “Take care of your community and the community will take care of you.” They give out haircuts to those in need and provide toys for the younger children in the neighborhood.
Bryan Black (left) opened up his barbershop about 2 years ago with his partner Chassidy. Bryan's goal was to build a positive community in his neighborhood.
Chassidy (left) went into a partnership with Bryan and helped open up the barbershop.
Chassidy and Bryan give free haricuts to those who can't afford them. Especially kids whose parents can't afford to pay for a haircut. "I want to be a positive role model," Bryan said, "I grew up here, and I want to give back."
Bryan built the barbershop from nothing, buying chairs, equipment, and signs to make it his own.
