Trevor McBride

Bio

Staff Sergeant Trevor McBride is a U.S. Air Force photojournalist currently enrolled in the Military Visual Journalism program at S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication at Syracuse University. Sergeant McBride is 1 of 5 photographers representing the U.S. Air Force. In 2017, while assigned to the 1st Combat Camera Squadron at Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina, Sergeant McBride deployed in support of operations Inherent Resolve, Freedom Sentinel, and Resolute Support. During his deployment he documented both, aerial and ground; combat and support missions in 8 Middle Eastern countries, to include Afghanistan and Syria. Additionally, in 2018, Sergeant McBride placed first in the Defense Media Activity D.C. ShootOff Photojournalism Workshop and Competition. Sergeant McBride will graduate in May 2019 and return to the U.S. Air Force to continue his photojournalism career at the 1st Combat Camera Squadron at Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina.
