Bio

Mass Communication Specialist 1st Class Brian M. Brooks started out editing video during college where he found his knack turning his favorite Japanese anime shows into music videos. Years later he joined the Navy where he learned photography which eventually lead him to picking up a video camera and becoming a skilled videographer, broadcaster and producer. He’s been stationed at USS Constitution, USS George H.W. Bush, USS Anzio, and AFN Yokosuka. While at AFN Yokosuka he applied and was accepted into the Military Motion Media program at Syracuse University’s prestigious S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications where he’s branched out to writing, directing, and producing short films and other promotional products.
