Burnt Orange | The deadly trail of Agent Orange

Agent Orange, the defoliant used during the Vietnam War has caused horrendous health problems for U.S. Service Members and Vietnamese civilians alike for generations.  Vietnam veteran Bob Schaefer recounts his tour of duty and how Agent Orange affected his health.

The Vietnam government says more than 3 million people have suffered illnesses because of the agent.  The U.S. government has documented higher cases of leukemia, Hodgkin’s lymphoma, and various kinds of cancer in exposed U.S. veterans.

Special thanks to Ginny Maholick for providing archival footage shot by her husband Bob Maholick, who died from complications related to Agent Orange exposure.
