Nathan Burke
Bio
Burke was born December 31, 1981 in Dothan, Alabama. He graduated from Enterprise High School and continued on to pursue a BA at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He maintained employment at Source One LLC, a boutique litigation support company, throughout his brief college years which motivated him to sideline his education and focus on his occupation as an account representative. Burke continued his career in the litigation support industry when he transitioned to Dsicovery LLC, where he was a project coordinator. Burke enlisted in the United States Navy in November 2013. After completion of basic training in July 2014, he attended the Defense Information School in Fort Meade, Maryland where he completed Basic the Mass Communication Specialist Course and Basic Combat Correspondence Course (BCC). Following BCC Burke furthered his Navy training at Naval Aircrew Candidate School (NACCS) in Pensacola, Florida. Upon completion of NACCS, Burke reported to USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), served proudly and became the 2016 Navy Photographer of the Year. After completing the Military Photojournalism Program at Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of of Public Communications Burke will continue his service at the United States Naval Academy.
