Formerly dairy farmers, Fred and Marie Ankin now raise more than 250 Red deers, which they farm for antlers and venison. Red deer antlers regenerate after shedding yearly, making them a gift that keeps giving for the Ankins. “They give so much to us; we try give back to them as much as we can,” said Marie of the deer she and her husband  not only raise, but see through each step of their life cycle.
