Kent Redmond

Bio

Kent Redmond is an Army Staff Sergeant serving as a Mass Communications Specialist assigned at the Syracuse University’s Military Motion Media Program. Kent is currently a MMM student at Newhouse. At the end of the 2019-2020 school year he will be 30 credits closer to a degree in Communications.

Kent grew up throughout the U.S. His father was a pastor and travel from church to church. His father has passed away, but his mother still lives in the Minneapolis, MN area.

Kent enlisted in the Army in January of 2007. He attended BCT at Fort Jackson, SC, and continued on to AIT at Fort Meade, MD.

Wife:
Kent Redmond married Tara Zink in 2008. They will celebrate their 12th wedding anniversary this year on July 20th. Tara is currently a stay at home mom.

Kids:
Kent and Tara have two children a girl and a boy. Lucille Redmond who is almost two years old, and a new born named John Redmond.
