Bio
Woooooo, where to start. I guess you can say I am a “glass two thirds of the way full” kind of guy, usually missing the point, but with a great attitude, and a contagious laugh. I am a Mass Communication Specialist for the United States Navy, undisputedly the best job in the entire Navy. But I was not always so lucky, at the very beginning of my Navy career I was just a humble Seaman. Tirelessly swabbing the decks of the mighty USS America, slowly turning into a human salt-lick. Then, the promised day arrived. I was given a chance to break free from the shackles of USS America’s deck department and become a Mass Communication Specialist.
After my stint on the America, I was stationed at Naval Public Affairs Support Element West Detachment Hawaii. Here I was able to truly learn my craft. Through self training, stubbornness, and unwavering support within those three years I went from barely even being able to take a photo, to winning U.S. Naval Media Awards in not only graphics, video, and photography but being named 2018 Strategic Communicator of the Year. Giving me the confidence to apply to Syracuse, and enroll in their Military Motion Media program. One of the greatest experiences of my life.
