Jeanette Mullinax
Bio
Jeanette is as a mass communication specialist in the U.S. Navy.
As the daughter of an Air Force veteran, she spent her childhood moving across the U.S. and overseas. After graduating from the Defense Information School at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland, in 2015, she reported to her first duty station, USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) in Sasebo, Japan, where she achieved the ranks of Petty Officer 3rd and 2nd Class. In 2018, she moved to Fussa, Japan, to join the American Forces Network team and Defense Media Activity’s regional media bureau. Amid 2020’s COVID-19 pandemic, she was accepted into the Syracuse University Military Photojournalism Program. Her following duty is in Arlington, Virginia.
