Daniel Gonzalez
Bio
Daniel Gonzalez is graphic designer who is originally from San Diego, California but grew up in northeastern Wisconsin. Currently a student at the prestigious S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, Gonzalez is studying graphic design with secondary focuses on photojournalism and filmmaking.
Gonzalez serves on active duty in the United States Navy. During his military assignments he has directly supported the branding and marketability of his branch of service. He helped rebrand the look of Navy Recruiting, and his promotional materials including billboards, pamphlets, booklets, posters and vehicle wraps can been seen across America and around the world.
He served alongside the Navy’s parachute team ‘The Leap Frogs’ where he operated as a one man show by filming, photographing, newswriting and being the direct communication point of contact for local and national
news outlets. In addition, he operated the team’s social media pages and grew their Instagram more than 5,000 followers in less than five months after taking over.
Gonzalez has a passion for community service. serving alongside his local church, he helped provide food and resources to individuals during the COVID-19 pandemic which directly supported the church in serving more than 1 million meals to the Memphis community. He has volunteered thousands of hours mentoring in youth ministries and coaching soccer year-around to underprivileged youth in the community.
Daniel Gonzalez is married Karly Gonzalez and together they have three beautiful daughters. The couple who has been together since they were 12 years old are passionate about design. While Daniel pursues higher education to further his skillset and opportunities in the mass communications field, Karly holds down the fort while also owning her own business and creating social media content as an influencer.
