HI, MY NAME IS…

I am a Mass Communication Specialist in the United States Navy. I enjoy graphic design, drawing, and meticulously color-coding my layers in After Effects. What I love most about design is its ability to make an impact on people. Whether it’s overhauling a brand’s identity, or creating a simple digital sketch that resonates with someone. It also helps if they pay me for it.

This is a typeface (that’s font for normal people) that is based on Newhouse staff member, Holly Zahn. It blends modern heavy sans-serif elements with a playful sensibility reflecting her positive attitude, and cheerful outlook.

This is a stamp series that celebrates the remarkable contributions of pioneering women in film who broke barriers and redefined the entertainment industry.

Middleground is a short-film for which we made a movie poster. We worked with the director over the course of the semester, and received feedback as we designed.

This animation was created to showcase an emoji of our choosing to animate. This was created in Adobe Illustrator, and After Effects.

This animation was created to tell a story quickly on the web. I choose Donna Tobias because she is an inspiring figure to me, and I wanted tell her story to more people.

Noise Vault is a monthly subscription service that offers rare or collectible vinyl records from grunge bands and the broader alternative/rock scene. Each box could also contain band-related merch such as posters, pins, stickers, and hoodies.
